Yoga

The word Yoga comes from the Sanskrit "YUG" meaning to join. Yoga integrates the mind, body and spirit.  Ashtanga yoga is practised at the Ashram, which involves the 8 branches of the science of yoga, including the asana (physical exercises), pranayama (breathing) and meditation which provide a balanced approach to achieving good physical and mental health.  Yoga does not conflict with any religious or spiritual beliefs and can be practised by anyone at any age.
